*Halloween MEETING A GREAT SUCCESS*

We hosted a Halloween party at the post office on saturday. The costumes included a mermaid, a princess, a pirate, a sailor, a hunter, and a frightening witch. Salmon spread, candy, fresh bread, spider crackers, cheese, homemade cookies, and more candy supplied the feast. We made traditional tissue paper ghosts with a few additions such as cat ears and top hats. Coloring pages were enjoyed by both kids and adults. The witch read a story in a clever way, and great fun was had by all. As people came by to check their mail the party members encouraged them to eat and to read and comment on the letter of intent for the Kodiak Arts Council which was set up in the lobby.
